Steve Schul is one half of Cocktail Buzz. He photographs both cocktails and food and, with his partner Paul Zablocki, creates demonstration videos pairing cocktails and hors d’oeuvres. Steve loves mixology and cooking, creating new recipes, and exploring new ingredients and techniques, as well as giving the classics their due. Raised on a farm in Kansas with a massive organic garden, Steve learned to appreciate seasonal comestibles at an early age. He brings a bit of Kansas to Brooklyn, albeit more humbly, by growing organic herbs and veggies on his rooftop garden for his kitchen and bar creations.

Paul Zablocki is one half of Cocktail Buzz. He writes about imbibing both cocktails and food and, with his partner Steve Schul, creates demonstration videos pairing cocktails and hors d’oeuvres. Paul loves to tinker in his kitchen, which in his small apartment, doubles as the bar, and likes to mix obscure, unloved and forgotten liqueurs and spirits. As a result of this tinkering, he placed third in the USA Pears/Imbibe Magazine pear cocktail contest. Originally from Connecticut, Paul now resides in Brooklyn, where you can find him barbecuing on his terrace. He will grill almost anything once (except bell peppers), and will always tend bar for his fellow friendly tipplers.
